15-5PH Stainless Steel: Properties, Composition, and Applications

15‑5PH (UNS S15500) is a martensitic precipitation‑hardening stainless steel engineered for high strength, toughness, and corrosion resistance in demanding environments. By adjusting aging conditions (H900–H1150), engineers can fine‑tune its mechanical properties for aerospace components, shafts, pumps, and high‑pressure equipment.

To see detailed chemical composition, mechanical property tables for different heat‑treatment conditions, advantages over 17‑4PH, and key industrial applications, read the full guide here: Full article on Nifty Alloys: https://niftyalloys.com/blogs/15-5ph-stainless-steel
